Delete your FinalMind account
FinalMind is a code-breaking puzzle game published by Hewoch. This page explains how to permanently delete your account and what happens to your data.
Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open FinalMind on your Android device.
- Tap the Settings icon (top-right of the home screen).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and all linked data are removed immediately.
Delete by email (if you've uninstalled the app)
If you no longer have FinalMind installed or can't sign in, email finalmind@hewoch.com from the address linked to your Play Games account with the subject line "Delete my FinalMind account". We'll process the deletion within 7 business days and reply once it's complete.
What data is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes the following, with no recovery option:
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Profile (name, avatar, badges, equipped cosmetics) | Deleted immediately |
| Play Games linkage | Deleted immediately |
| Star balance, VIP status, owned cosmetics | Deleted immediately (purchases are not refundable) |
| Game progress (stages cleared, custom challenges, daily streaks) | Deleted immediately |
| Follower / following relationships | Deleted immediately |
| Authentication tokens / sessions | Revoked immediately |
| In-app purchase records | Deleted immediately from our servers (Google Play retains its own transaction record for tax / refund handling — contact Google Play support to remove those) |
What data is kept (anonymised)
Puzzles you shared with the community are kept so other players can continue solving them, but every link back to you is removed:
- Community challenges you created — the puzzle and its difficulty stay live, but the creator field is cleared. Other players see "Anonymous" instead of your username.
Retention period
None. Personal data is deleted from our active database at the moment you confirm the deletion. Encrypted database backups, which roll on a 30-day cycle, may contain residual personal data; those backups are never accessed except for disaster recovery and are overwritten within 30 days of the deletion.
